Corporate And Business Law Attorney Bruce Andelson Joins Greenberg Glusker

Greenberg Glusker today is pleased to announce that attorney Bruce D. Andelson has joined the Firm as a Partner in its Corporate Group. Andelson counsels corporations, emerging ventures and individuals on a range of commercial legal issues and transactions. These include mergers and acquisitions, succession planning and executive compensation issues. He places a particular emphasis on working with closely held businesses, merchant banks and other investment companies.

Representative client matters that Andelson has managed include:

  • Represented a privately held consumer products company in connection with the refinancing of a $100 million credit facility, a spinoff of one of its divisions and the subsequent sale of a half interest of that division to a private equity company for $200+ million,

  • Represented the major owner of a consumer products company in connection with its sale to a public company in a $750+ million cash transaction, and

  • Represented Dennis Tito in negotiations with the Russian government and various quasi-private Russian companies in connection with Mr. Tito’s flight to the International Space Station as the world’s first “Space Tourist”.

An active speaker on business law issues at seminars and presentations, Andelson was a member of the advisory council to the Los Angeles City Attorney and the Joint Advisory Committee on Continuing Education to the State Bar of California. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a Manning Fellow and Phi Beta Kappa. Andelson was awarded his J.D. from Stanford Law School. Prior to Greenberg Glusker, Andelson was a Partner in the Corporate Group of Bingham McCutchen in Santa Monica.
